BBQ Breakfast

Ease into the day with a relaxed BBQ Breakfast on the banks of the Balonne River and enjoy the atmosphere and smell of a traditional 'Aussie' barbeque proudly presented by various St George community groups and Service Clubs.

Rowing Club Challenge

After taking your time over a leisurely breakfast, catching up with old friends or making new ones, take up a spot on the banks of the river and watch the challenge of the Rowing Clubs between the Western Rivers Rowing Club versus Brisbane Dragons Rowing Club.

Western Rivers Rowing Club Display & Demonstration

Thinking of taking to rowing on the river? Well here's your chance to take a close look at the boats, see how it's done and ask questions from the experts.

Venue: Balonne River | Time: 11.00am

Monster Raffle

Tickets to the Monster Raffle will be available during the weekend for $2.00 per ticket and the big draw will take place at 11.30am at the river with First Prize being 2 x return air tickets to Brisbane, sponsored by Skytrans.

Children's Activities on the River Banks

From 10.00am to 12.00noon there will be plenty of fun for the young and young at heart with water slides, face painting, merry-go-round rides and much, much more.  So head on down to the river where the St George Youth Club and the Apex Club will be your hosts.

The Waterskiers Warehouse Boat Parade

The festival finale, presented by the St George Rowing Club and Western Rivers Rowing Club, is one not to be missed with boats parading down the river in many shapes, sizes and forms.  Have the camera ready for that unusual shot!
